Preparing for your Design Center Appointment
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Riverside home!
To make this experience as productive as possible, we ask that you please take a moment to review the following checklist.
- You will receive an Options Selections List from your sales representative. Please take the time to look over your options list, visit the Design Center Open House and look at the Resources section of RiversideHome.com before coming to your appointment. We also encourage you to walk the model(s) in your community and others to help familiarize yourself with the options we can provide.
- Appointments are scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 9:00am or 1:00pm each day.
- Because we are committed to giving you our undivided attention we cannot accommodate walk-ins or evening / weekend appointments.
- We suggest that you dress comfortably. Your appointment will take approximately 2-3 hours.
- May we recommend that you leave your children at home? You will be making important decisions that impact your new home and budget. We have found that you may find your appointment more rewarding and enjoyable without distractions.
- Make a comprehensive list of the questions you have on the options list and bring the list to the options appointment. This is the time when your questions will be answered.
- Be prepared to make final decisions. We are committed to strict construction schedules and wish to ensure that your new home is ready on time.
- In accordance with your contract a 50% deposit is required at the time your selections are made even if incentives are agreed to in the contract. Only personal checks are accepted. There may be additional deposits required at your flooring appointment.
- Please understand there may not be an opportunity to make additions or changes once you have signed the Optional Items Addendum and your deposit is received. If you are notified that an item has been discontinued or out of stock, you will be asked to re-select.
- Custom options or additional changes after the options appointment required a change fee per item. If Riverside Homes approves your change, the $200 fee will be applied to your reselections. Please take into account that Riverside Homes cannot guarantee success in changing previously selected items.
- All orders must be in written form, signed and dated
